I was on vacation with my family, my husband was driving and there was some guy on motorcycle was behind us, swerving from side to side, like going almost 80 mph on the freeway was nothing. He didn't wear a helmet, had lowered his feet from the footbar and kept tailing us, even though we weren't in the fast lane, and there were four other lanes for him to go in. He frustrated me, suddenly I saw the scene for Jimmy and Ramsey in my head and I started writing it down on my phone and didn't stop for the next six months.

I love reading. I really love reading books that I can picture myself in, and that make me laugh. After reading a group of insanely good books, mostly from Mariana Zapata, i wondered if I could write one. My talent isn't quite up to par with hers just yet, but I believe I could get there.

I have several works in progress currently. I have my second book sitting with my alpha reader, right now, hoping to have that ready to publish in the spring of 2019.

Don't stop. Learn to accept criticism, everyone has to deal with it at some point. Your first, second and third draft still won't be perfect, allow people in to critique it. Absorb information and learn as much as you can, don't become a victim.

Take a drive and listen to music. Nine out of ten times the music will spark some idea or creative scene in my head and i 'll have to pull over to jot it down.
