SF Carnes Sometimes I just let my characters and stories sit for a couple of weeks. Eventually they will let me know they are ready to come out of my head and onto the page.
Other times I write about other things, or read more. But I don't worry about writer's block or become consumed by it.
SF Carnes Writing! It's always been a dream of mine to write, and now that I'm finally following my dream, it is wonderful. I feel as though everything else that I have done in my life has laid the groundwork for realising my dream.
SF Carnes Just write. Don't worry too much about all the finer details of a plan for your writing, that can be looked at in more detail once you have your story on the page.
SF Carnes I am currently working on my second novel and the second book in the Kylie Whiddon mystery series. The working title is B&S BS
SF Carnes I don't get inspired to write, until I MAKE myself write. Then the words start to flow.
SF Carnes I wanted to completed NaNo WriMo (National Novel Writing Month), and the idea for the story popped into my head one day while I was driving. I drew on my own experiences in the Outback to provide some of the story line.
