Chocolate! (Half) Kidding!! I find solace, remove myself from the "noise" that sometimes bombards me, and give myself time to find the words. If it doesn't happen that hour, or that day, or that week, I find other ways to be productive until I can produce writing of value.

Partly Sunny was inspired by my real-life experiences with the transition to parenthood. When expectations and realities clashed hard, I decided that I wanted to candidly share my own journey. Through lots of laughter and transparency, the hope is that other parents will either become better prepared or discover that they are not alone in having less-than-perfect experiences.
