I've always been a vivid dreamer, and one night I dreamed about a super strong and fast girl fighting aliens. As I started to write it down, I found myself saying, "Hey, there's actually some good stuff here." As I connected the dream pieces, I felt like I had enough material for one book, and then it became material for multiple books... And here we are!

Don't quit! I was struggling to write a completely different book (which I have ultimately shelved for now) before I got the idea for Remade. Even in the midst of writing Remade, I got pretty bad writers' block, but I didn't stop writing altogether. I just switched gears and wrote a few short stories, which kept the creative juices flowing until I was able to start back up on Remade.

I've been writing since I was little, and I love being totally in control of whatever story, world, or moment that I create. Every detail or interaction is totally up to me, and there's no "wrong answer" in what I can imagine.
