I'm currently working on my second book, a crime novel titled "Till Death Do Us Part" and here's a little something that I'm hoping will get you interested:
The first thing detective Nicolò De Santis notices when he arrives at the crime scene is the strong smell of incense mixed with the hideous sickly-sweet stench of a decaying corpse. Then the woman’s body lying on the purple bedsheets, wearing only a white dress, her arms stretched as if crucified, her wrists slit. An open Bible is placed at her feet and, on her heart, a black bookmark with a chilling message printed in dark red letters.
If a woman commits adultery with another man, the adulteress is to be put to death. Signed: The Priest.
But is this just a one-time crime of passion or is there something more sinister going on? De Santis gets his answer when two more adulterous women are killed following the same ritual. And the hunt begins.
Kate Marini has just started dating De Santis and is tormented by one question alone: is she being unfaithful to her husband by being with the handsome detective?
But The Priest has already answered the question and his sentence is immovable.

There’s a quote attributed to William Faulkner: “I only write when I am inspired. Fortunately I am inspired at 9 o’clock every morning.” I find that discipline is the best way to deal with what is called "writer's block."
Reading extensively is another way, as well as doing things which force me to get out of my comfort zone. I believe that when I challenge myself I train my mind to think differently, to come up with new approaches to life and writing alike.
When I'm feeling lazy and unispired or "not in the mood" I listen to horror movie soundtracks and they "wake me up" like nothing else will. Not even coffee.
