Rhylee Davidson Being able to create. I love creating worlds, characters, scenes and conversation. I also like my alone time, so being able to put on some headphones and loud music then lock myself in my office and let the words flow is just the best.
Rhylee Davidson I haven't had that problem yet. Fact of the matter is, I have a huge fantasy life going on in my head. I don't think I will live long enough to get all the stories written.
Rhylee Davidson That's a tough one. We all get uninspired to write at some point and that's okay. I usually just have to push through it because the characters are talking to me keeping me up at night. If I don't get them out of my head and onto paper or in the computer, I won't sleep for days.
Rhylee Davidson I'm completing the second book in The Tarot Series, The Queen of Swords. I'm also starting a YA Series. The first book is due out this summer. Keep your eyes open for Season of the Witch.
Rhylee Davidson Remember that the first draft is just you telling yourself the story. Don't get hung up on making it perfect or moving chapters and correcting spelling. The second draft is where you read it back to yourself and start making changes and corrections. Also, we're all afraid our writings not good enough and afraid to have someone read it at one time or another. Don't let that stop you. Even if it doesn't become a best seller or someone doesn't give you a nice review. You've done something not many people will do in their lifetime. You wrote a book! Be proud and get back to it. The more you write, the better you get!
