My new favorite author is Katherine Center after reading How to Walk Away so I'll be checking out the rest of her books. I'm also looking forward to diving into the Barbara Freethy's Whisper Lake series. At the moment, I'm reading The Lost and Found Book Shop.

I'm a very visual person so when I start a project I take lots of photos and scour magazines for pictures of what I imagine my characters look like, the setting, and other details that are important to the story. These go into a binder with my character bios, maps, outline, etc. When I sit down to write each day, a quick look through the binder is usually enough to get the wheels turning again.

I'm working on Love Like Air, which is Book #3 in the Hearts in Hendricks series. It will release in the Spring.
