I wanted to write about Washington, current events (the John Lennon tragedy, the Iran hostage crisis, etc), many matters tangential, and the quest for someone leading a life similar to mine after college in the early 80s to get a few things accomplished. The tangents are a way to leap into creativity, humor, and irony; lot of flesh attaching itself to the skeleton which flirts with the autobiographical
