The best thing about being a writer is letting my imagination fly and being independent. No matter how crazy an idea seems, I can write it down and work with it. I can explore different characters and see if it makes sense to include them in my work. It's an amazing feeling to see an idea that I quickly wrote down on a piece of paper to a completed project.

I wake up to the sound of my husband singing in the kitchen and the smell of fresh coffee. I roll out of bed and head for the kitchen when suddenly a hand grabs me from the closet, and my husband frantically whispers, "Don't go down there."

Mmm, there are a lot of stories in my life that could be a good plot for a book. I think the time I got into an accident, three days after buying my car, would be a good story. It's not exactly a mystery, but add a little imagination, a little razzle-dazzle, a little murder, and boom, I think you have something.
