When you begin, make sure you know if your book will be past or present! Was and is, could or can’t, had and has. I messed up bad there. Also? Show me the emotions! I.e. she was frustrated. Show me what she did while she was frustrated. Think of what you would do in those circumstances.

I go an read a favorite authors works! Get my mind off my own book, and just take a little time to decompress.

Honestly? No idea. I started writing characters and everything just fell into place. I knew I wanted my book to be RH, so I started there and the plot and ‘abilities’ just flowed.
