I've loved food and beverage writing for many years. It came down to a book about avocados or beer. I grew up on an avocado ranch, and I love to eat them on nearly everything. I think my mom and dad fed me guacamole out of a baby bottle. In the end, I decided that researching and writing about craft beer would be a bit more fun and certainly appeal to a wider audience. That said, nothing goes better with a cold one then a burger or taco covered with my favorite creamy-ripe fruit!

I'm currently working on book two of the Craft Beer Country book series. Will it be "In Search of the Best Breweries from the Rocky Mountains to the Southwest" or "In Search of the Best Breweries from the Northeast to the Mid-Atlantic"? Stay tuned.
