Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

H.G. Potter I think the Never Leave Your Monastery book was firstly inspired by Tolkein, whose epic plot-arc it imitates, and later by reading the sagas of ancient classical literature such as Homer. on the other hand, for the most part, I went back and re-worked my old AD&D stories so that they would conform to higher standards, and that was writing which I had scratched out in the 1980s.
