So many "best things" - writing is like a best friend, it's comforting when you need it, it's exciting when you want it and it's rewarding always.

My biggest problem was myself. Once I put my doubts away, far away where I couldn't feel them anymore, I was fine. I'd recommend anyone who doubts why they're writing to just admit to themselves that they won't really be satisfied until they've conquered that doubt. It's just one paragraph at a time.

My second book THE FORGOTTEN HOUSE is written; it's in the editing stage right now and creating a cover. This pre-publication is fun, but I'm itching to start writing my next book!

Anything and everything inspires me! I wish I could write 24/7. I feel stories bubbling in the people I meet, the places I've been and the random thoughts that cross my mind.

The inspiration for this book came to me literally in the middle of the night. I woke suddenly, thinking I heard someone's voice, but actually, it was the main character in the book (even though I didn't know him at the time because I hadn't written him yet!)
Long story short, the opening scene of the book is the memory I have of that middle-of-the-night moment. The rest of the book just grew from that!
