As someone who likes rereading and also strongly prefers reading a series in order, can you recommend an overall reading order to your books? I had been reading your books as they came out, and I want to reread them but my brain is stuck on the question of which book should be first and what order to go from there.
Catherine Stein Every series is a separate world, so you don't have to worry about that for order. Within each series, the order is:

Potions and Passions: (The Earl on the Train), How to Seduce a Spy, Not a Mourning Person, Once a Rake Always a Rogue, Love at Second Sight

Sass and Steam: (A Shot to the Heart), Eden's Voice, Priceless, Dead Dukes Tell No Tales, Beyond Repair, Luck Be a Lady Pirate

Arcane Tales: The Scoundrel's New Con, The Spinster's Swindle

Mad Scientists Society: The Courtesan and Mr. Hyde, The Electrical Affairs of Dr. Victor Franklin, Courting Captain Nemo (coming later in 2024)

The novellas in P&P and S&S come first chronologically, but were written later as prequels. They can be read first if you want the exact timeline.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Catherine Stein My favorite painting has always been A Bar at the Folies-Bergère, by Édouard Manet. I wanted to give the barmaid a story, and I had also thought up the idea of having a world where the only magic was in (mostly fairly mundane) potions. I started writing, liked her chemistry with the main male character, and decided it needed to be a romance. Now the barmaid has her Happily Ever After.
