I wanted a SciFi story that was not much explored yet and that played a war theme that was very criticized in Heinlein with Starship Troopers, the war between species. On the other hand I am struck by the theory of the evolution of reptilian intelligence in case the cataclysm that marked its extinction had not occurred.
Putting these two ingredients together, I have a conflict between two intelligent but mutually exclusive species.
This is how the idea of Saurios was born - The Day of the Beast.
Quería un tema de ciencia ficción no muy explorado aun y que tocara un tema bélico que fue muy criticado en Heinlein con Starship Troopers, la guerra entre especies. Por otro lado me llama la atención la teoría de la evolución de la inteligencia de los reptiles en caso de que el cataclismo que marcó su extinción no hubiese ocurrido.
Juntando estos dos ingredientes tengo un conflicto entre dos especies inteligentes pero mutuamente excluyentes.
Así nace la idea de Saurios - El día de la Bestia.

Actually I do not have much free time to write, so when I get, I must make the most of that brief moment, I think about the story and I start to write, I'm correcting on the fly and assemble the skeleton of the chapter in a few lines in a thousand to two thousand words, resulting in a horrible text.
I leave it and days later, I reread it and I find many errors, grammar, coherence spelling and I am correcting on the fly.
I know that the process is not optimal but it's how it works for me, it's not that I need music, although it helps, a bucolic environment, which is very good, but I still write on the dining table, in the patio, in a cafe or even in a coffe shop, once I did it in a huge traffic jam and it worked very well for me.
En realidad no tengo mucho tiempo libre para escribir, por eso cuando me pongo, debo aprovechar al máximo ese breve instante, pienso en la historia y comienzo a escribir, voy corrigiendo sobre la marcha y armo el esqueleto del capítulo en pocas lineas en unas mil a dos mil palabras, resultando un texto horrible.
Lo dejo y días despues, lo releo y encuentro muchos errores, de gramática, de ortografía de coherencia y voy corrigiendo sobre la marcha.
Sé que el proceso no es óptimo pero es como me funciona, no es que necesite música, aunque ayuda, un ambito bucólico, que es muy bueno, pero igual escribo en la mesa del comedor, en el patio, en un café o incluso en una cafetería, una vez lo hice en un enorme embotellamiento de tráfico y me resultó muy bien.

Well, in promoting my first book, I did it totally alone and I have only sought the help of good friends who want to buy it, read it and review it.
I already have a couple of chapters and ideas for the second part, but only that, I have not put myself in the task yet to give a little time to the first offspring.
Pues en promocionar mi primer libro, lo hice totalmente solo y solo he buscado la ayuda de los buenos amigos que quieran comprarlo, leerlo y reseñarlo.
Tengo ya un par de capítulos y las ideas para la segunda parte, pero solo eso, no me he puesto en la tarea todavía hasta darle un poco de tiempo al primer retoño.

I do not know what advice I could give that I am really an aspiring writer, who barely managed to finish a novel, but those who have not even started, the advice I can give them is to write, stop thinking about it.
No se qué consejo podría dar yo que soy en realidad un aspirante a escritor, que apenas logró terminar una novelita, pero a quienes ni siquiera han empezado, el consejo que les puedo dar es ponganse a escribir, dejen de esar pensándolo.

I would like to know first what is it to be a writer?
As an amateur to write I love creating, possibly that's the best thing about being a writer, it's having that power to create worlds, people, events, conflicts and everything a story takes, being a writer is in a way an approach to being a kind of God, with the responsibilities that it entails. You can not play God with impunity, the characters charge one and become a responsibility even if they end up dying for our pen.

Como aficionado a escribir me gusta mucho crear, posiblemente eso es lo mejor de ser escritor, es tener ese poder de crear mundos, personas, hechos, conflictos y todo lo que una historia lleva, ser un escritor es en cierto modo un acercamiento a ser una especie de Dios, con las responsabilidades que conlleva. No se puede jugar a ser Dios impunemente, los personajes se la cobran a uno y se convierten en una responabilidad aunque terminen muriendo por nuestra pluma.

I've never had a writer's block and I think it's because of my work (the one I'm given to eat), I have so little time to write that when I get to the task, I've already got the idea mature and I do it almost I do not know when I can have a few free hours to dedicate to writing, that's why my first book took a few years, despite being so small.
Nunca he tenido bloqueo de escritor y creo que es porque debido a mi trabajo (el que me da para comer), tengo tan poco tiempo para escribir que cuando puedo ponerme a la tarea, ya llevo madura la idea y lo hago casi de corrido pues no sé cuándo podré tener unas horas libres para dedicarlas a escribir, por eso mi primer libro me tomó unos cuantos años, a pesar de ser tan pequeño.
