Hey Cataclysmic! I have no idea what Scribd.com is to be honest, but I will check it out. If I can make my books available on there than I will.

I find that you only get writers block when you are tired, physically or mentallyI, or your mind is on something else. At times like that I read. I get inspired by certain authors, and have a habit of reading the same books when I find I can not write. "A study In Scarlett" is my go to book when inspiration fails me.

The people. When somebody gets dragged in to your imagination and world, and they enjoy it, it is just the most amazing feeling when they enjoy my writing.

I do not think I am qualified to give advice on writing. I try my best and put the work in. I was given advice from one of my most favourite authors "Michael J Sullivan" he said it takes years to become anything close to good at writing for most people. Just try and learn something new with every page written, and the only way to get better is continue to write, and read a lot. Reading books is a great way to learn and pick up tricks.

I am currently working on my second full length book called "Bronze" It is a Western adventure. Something I have never tried to write before, but I am a huge fan of the genre and movies. I hope people will give it a try, the western books and new movies are few, and I want to try and bring it back, although it is a huge task with a lot research.

I get excited by the idea of bringing my imagination to life, through writing. The characters and the things they experience and think, helps make them real. I get comfort from that, like old friends coming to say hello. Writing is an escape from reality, and life is whatever you want it to be while you are writing.

It just came to me. Some ideas are inspired by movies or songs, or even things my children say. I come up with the title, then just start writing.
