I usually deal with writer's block by smashing my head against the keyboard repeatedly. If that doesn't work, I vow to never write again. Which lasts until I get the urge again.

I am currently at work on the third book of the CUT AND RUN IN THE BRONX series. Tentatively titled, THE SEA CAT OF DONEGAL, it brings the Yank characters to Ireland, the birthplace of their ancestors to try their luck there.

I get a great deal of inspiration for my writing from my grandfather. He was a great storyteller and an amazing man. His life was magical realism itself. The legends of Ireland and Christianity were not remote whimsy to him. He firmly believed and lived them.

My latest book, THE GUILT OF THE GHOSTS, is the second in the CUT AND RUN IN THE BRONX trilogy. It is a continuation of some of the themes and characters from the first book.
