C.J . I don't consider myself a writer. This is my first book. I'm just someone who is having fun and hope that people will find my book and lose themselves in it for a while and have a good laugh.
C.J . I have more of a problem in the area of keeping things short. I tend to go on and on and go off on a tangent. When I do have a problem with a section I start writing dialogue which is easy for me and then sometimes it kickstarts my brain into finding my way out of the corner I've written myself into.
C.J . Just write. I have stories rattling around in my head and it is always interesting to see them come out on the paper. Write because you enjoy the process. It gets the creative side of your brain a chance to work and that is always a good thing.
C.J . I am working on a short story involving the two main characters from Beautiful Disaster. It's more sci'fi than Beautiful Disaster but just as silly.
C.J . I'm a people watcher and things I see or hear seem to get stored away in my subconscious and then suddenly come to the surface when I least expect them to.
C.J . For a while, there was a flood of vampire movies and books out and their appeal seemed to be eternal life. Well that's fine I thought. But what if not just a few brooding types could have eternal life but anyone and everyone on the planet. Yes, that included the annoying throat clearer and not so silent burper in the cubicle next to you. And OMG when and if was retirement if everyone lived longer or indefinitely. These and other horrific questions came to mind and I thought it might make an interesting story.
