I have been reading books by Logan Chance right now because they are on KU and I have a trail subscription. There are so many books I want to read, but with writing, I am having problems reading as much as Id like to.

I read once that you get writers block when something with the story isn't right. Figure out what that is and fix it. Sometimes I still can't get out of it and I need to take a step back for a while. Go on a hike, bake some cookies, or watch a movie. I'll figure it out eventually!

I love when I am going in one direction and the characters go somewhere else with it. There are times I write something and it works out so much better than the original plan. Now, the flip side is sometimes it stinks!

Write for you, not for anyone else. If it makes you happy, do it, and do it often. The more you write, the better your skills become. I know we all want others to like what we've written, but if you don't like it first and foremost, no one else will.

I'm currently working on my third book, it's very dark and unlike my first two books (second book will be released in Feb). I am nervous about this one, and unless you like dark erotica, it won't be for you.

Sometimes I will see something as I'm walking around, or someone will say something that will trigger a story idea. Sometimes I even get ideas from other stories I've read.

I have had this idea for a long time and finally became brave enough to write it down. I love to bake so it seemed like the perfect fit!
