Then I had to market it.
Leya Delray If it's what you love, keep working at it until you create something beautiful. If that sounds like too much work, find something else you love, and do that instead. There are millions of ways to make something beautiful in this world.
Leya Delray Seeing stories everywhere, from the funny little kid in the produce aisle to the fascinating tree you stumble upon when hiking...then being able to share those stories with others.
Leya Delray Sometimes reading helps. Sometimes just laying in the sunshine letting my imagination wander until I stumble on something interesting helps. But the best thing is just to set myself a timer and say I MUST write for X number of minutes (usually 30-60). Usually by the time the timer goes off I'm already so involved that I don't want to stop.
Leya Delray "Where Daffodils Bloom" was based on a true story, so I got the idea when I met the daughter of the main character at a WW2 event and heard some of the fascinating pieces of her parents' love story.
