How do you get inspired to write?
Bevy Smith Get a book deal and an advance, that’s very inspiring 😂

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Bevy Smith The sheer amount of folks contacting me on social media asking for advice on how to change their lives. I knew I had a story to tell, a story that would inspire other people to not SETTLE & pursue their dreams, their passions!

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Bevy Smith Find an editor, someone to look over your writing because often times we are so attached to our words, but a good editor, can cut (literally) through to the really good stuff!

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Bevy Smith Having an outlet to express yourself, that’s if you can find a way to not obsess over criticism, that’s one of the hardest things about being a writer!

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Bevy Smith Step away from the page, do something that calms your mind, I found painting (I’m not a good painter, but that’s besides the point, lol) to be very spiritual almost like meditation!
