Hey Joe, I'm a fellow Black Rose author and I wanted to reach you and I wasn't sure how. I just read "Managed Care" and I loved it. It's funniest book I've read in a long time. And I'm wondering if they're might be some cross over between our readers. Black Rose is releasing the first two books in my James Flynn comedy mystery series in February and my new one in June. Do you ever blurb fellow authors?

You are hilarious! I enjoyed "Managed Care" so much - not at all what I expected. The characters were delightful and it was a fun ride all around. Are you working on more books? The world needs to laugh more, and you have a gift, so get at it! Thank you.
Joe Barrett Thank you, Noreen - I'm so glad you liked it and you're so sweet for letting me know! A bunch of people told me that "Managed Care" wasn't what they expected, probably because the title makes it sound like the most boring book in the world. I appreciate the fact that you decided to give it a read anyway. My next book "Unplugged" comes out in May. Thanks again for the kind words - the support I've gotten from the Goodreads community makes it so much easier to keep writing!

Joe Barrett Hey Gary, I've had a great experience with Black Rose Writing. They're publishing my second book (actually my first book, but the second to be published) in August. BRW has been growing a lot over the past few years and they all seem to be really good people. I've been very happy with their promotion and distribution efforts for Managed Care. Good luck with your book!

Facebook is actually fun, I'm an old woman and I have both a business page (for my antique bricks and mortar shop) and a personal page for family and super close friends. Set yourself up a Joe Barrett- Author page to keep things straight. Have your daughter ( or you, whoever is setting up ? ) look at other authors, Vince Zandri does a great example.

Joe Barrett Hey RaChelle! First, so totally happy that you liked Managed Care - thanks a lot for leaving that really nice review. I literally just joined Facebook so after my fourteen-year-old daughter teaches me how to use it I'll try to keep it updated and put together an ARC group. I'll post once I set things up. Thanks so much for your interest!
