Usually I attack from a different angle, or I skip around. Sometimes there's a scene I really don't want to deal with, or something else I'm not sure of, but there's always SOMETHING to write, so I do that, and come back around to the sticking point.

Keep writing. Write when you feel like it, and when you don't. Then write some more.

This month I'll be editing book 2 and outlining book 4 of the Rambler Battalion series.

I read a lot, and I look around. I find a lot of inspiration in obviously romantic things, like my new fave show Erkenci Kuş, a Turkish TV show with AMAZING angsty/yearny love between the MCs, and really all around me. I also read poetry when I feel stuck—I think the shift from prose helps challenge and loosen my mind so I can get back to generating.

Before I actually sat down to right, I thought that thinking of IDEAS would be the biggest challenge. Turns out, I was totally wrong! The ideas come hard and fast, especially in the middle of OTHER books. For example, I'm wrapping up the first draft of the third book in the Rambler Battalion series, but the characters from book FIVE are all up in my business right now, and I've started having thoughts about two other totally different series! So, the ideas just COME, especially the more I write!
