What are you currently working on?
Michael R. Johnston I'm currently "fiddling" with two different stories; I'm not sure which one will be "ready" for writing first. One is a "epic science fantasy" story, the other is a slightly more straightforward space opera in a new universe.

Michael R. Johnston Keep writing. Keep dreaming. Read often and widely, and write what you love.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Michael R. Johnston I combined two things: The idea of aliens who stole the Earth, which I'd been kicking around forever, and the history of Ireland.
