Thanks for asking! There's no direct sequel to The Sound of Stars BUT you get to see the conclusion of Morris & Ellie's story in A Song of Salvation!! Thank you again and hope that helps :))

What happens after The Sound of Stars? Do they save earth and fix everything or do they fall short and fail? Does Morris go back to his home planet after all is done or stay with Ellie and live out his life with her? I can ask so many questions.

Do you plan on writing more books for the sound of stars? Or more books in general?
Alechia Dow I do! My next book, The Kindred (same universe as The Sound of Stars), comes out January 4th, 2022. I have Sweet Stakes and An Enchanted Match coming out in Winter 2023. As for The Sound of Stars, if my publisher lets me, I will totally try to peek in on Ellie and Morris again!

Will there be a sequel to The Sound of Stars? I loved it so much and the way it ended I felt like there could be a great duology or trilogy!
Alechia Dow I loved writing it so much, and there are references to Ellie and Morris in The Kindred... I hope someday I can write one!

As a person who used to be a chef, are you going to write any books with chefs/bakers in the future?
Alechia Dow YES!! I will! I have three very foodtastic books in the pipeline, including Sweet Stakes which is a YA Dracula retelling with a lot of doughnuts, and it comes out in 2023!!

How do you pronounce M0Rr1s?
Alechia Dow I just call him Morris, but in Ilori, it's M-zeror-one-iss. Weird, right? lol!!

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Alechia Dow I get to create worlds and characters teens may love---that may make their day better or make them feel seen and/or heard. I can write revolutions or an alternate future. Being a writer is an amazing opportunity that I will never take for granted, and hope that my stories change the world for at least one reader.
