It started with a bad date.
I was dating Christian women, but nothing was sticking. At the time, I had developed reservations about church after witnessing several examples of spiritual abuse. I did a little hokey-pokey when it came to the church - putting my left foot in, and my left foot out, did the hokey-pokey and figured I should be out. During my date, it led to discussion around church and she invited me to hers. I passed, instead trying to gloat about how great my church was, one that I wasn't going to. The date stalled, but I realized that I needed to do more. Rather than give-up on church, I decided to act on an idea to visit 52 Churches in 52 Weeks.
