Hi Lynne - good question. Book 2 in the series was due out end of 2019 and then due to an international house move, followed by some health issues and then lovely Covid-19... it had been put aside as life took its toll.
The good news is that I've finally started work on it again and fingers crossed it should be out later this year... as you are one of many chasing me for it!
Cate, Carlos and the ladies and some new characters will be back end of 2020, and I promise you this book will truly be a shocker!!

To be quite honest I do not tend to suffer from writer's block as I write when I feel I am moved to write. I found all the advice about writing so many words per day really put me under pressure, it felt heavy and that in itself just blocked my creative flow. Now I wake up and feel it is a writing day.
When I sit down at my laptop, I do a little meditation to open up my creative mind and allow the story to unfold. I see it as a movie playing in my head and I am there purely trying to record all that I see in words.

The Naked Knitting Club was an idea sitting in my head for over 15 years. To be quiet honest I am really not 100% sure where the actual idea came from, or should I say that my wonderful Muse dropped in and allowed it to stay with me, mulling over as a movie in my head. Most of the main characters just appeared, I did not have to grapple around for them - they were there patiently waiting until I finally gave in and 'wrote the damn book'.
One thing was clear it was Cate's journey through the ups and downs of life and how her courage to join the naked knitting club changed her life, as her new found friends were there to support her when the going got tough.
Life can, at times, feel like being on a rollercoaster ride -- and it is our true friends who are there for us when we need them, without question, without judgement, because they love us.
I thoroughly enjoyed writing the book, and it felt like the naked knitter were there for me too. I hope you enjoy reading the book too...
