Part of what drove me to write an entire book about it, though, was the fact that there was so little else out there on the subject. I got so tired of not being able to find the answers and information that I wanted, that I just decided to do the research and write a book myself.

If I'm facing a period where I really can't come up with substantive material, I just try to write through it, write anything. However, I've found that spending a lot of time crafting a very thorough, detailed outline eliminates a lot of my writer's block.
