From my personal and professional experiences during the years I lived in New Orleans. I believed I could weave an interesting story that included business and political corruption, personal failings, and racism. Put all that in the context of New Orleans after it was devastated by Katrina and see what comes out. I did not plan the end result for the three main characters.
