Andrew Henley Creating things. Worlds, characters, relationships... being a writer is all about creation
Andrew Henley It's not really something I have a method for. I like writing dialogue and including strange or unusual characters, so I typically get ideas for conversations in my head and build the story around those
Andrew Henley Write as much as you can. If it's your first story and you don't think you'll do anything with it, but you're really excited to do something new, jump ship and do the thing you want. Andrew Henley I have a novel (Hayley Soon) about a trans Korean-American student who cosplays to cope with her dissolving mental health due out in March, another finished draft (Miranda Isabella Rebecca Iglesias) about an asexual firemage cowgirl out for revenge, and am about to start a new draft (Afterbirth) about a Puerto Rican teen haunted by the ghost of her daughter after a stillbirth at prom
