If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

Michelle De Bruin I would go to a place that resembles England so that I could tour the large estate homes and cathedrals. Maybe even meet the queen!

What books are on your summer reading list this year?

Michelle De Bruin I review books for Celebrate Lit and Baker Books, so the titles I am reading this summer are: Pretending to Wed by Melissa Jagears, Forever Music by Hope Toler Dougherty, and Irish Encounter, also by Hope Toler Dougherty. Gift From Above by Rachel J. Good, and On a Coastal Breeze by Suzanne Woods Fisher.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Michelle De Bruin I got the idea for my first book from my family heritage and from interacting with people who have varied ways of processing grief. I wanted to write a book that helped people heal, which is why the word "hope" is in the title.
