Michelle De Bruin I keep a journal for each book as I am writing it. This is where I store research notes and material I rely on for character development. If I have writer's block, I free write in this journal to answer questions about the next portion of the story.

Michelle De Bruin I got the idea for my first book from my family heritage and from interacting with people who have varied ways of processing grief. I wanted to write a book that helped people heal, which is why the word "hope" is in the title.
Michelle De Bruin I get inspired by journaling my thoughts on scripture and relationships.
Michelle De Bruin I am working on the research and outline for the third book in the "Hope for Tomorrow" series.
