I don't get it - or at least I don't call it writer's block. If I'm stuck I move onto something else for a while, like cooking or gardening, and let my subconscious work it out.

Wolf Pack, the next book in my Living Rock series, of which A Volcanic Race was the first. Wolf Pack is now with my proofreader, so I am somewhat in limbo.

Sometimes an image, as in my flash fiction, but at other times ideas just happen.

I wrote a short story about a couple of pensioners who fall in love, then took the male character back to his boyhood. He doesn't reach pension age until the sequel!
