My next book will be a full-length novel, and it'll be a sci-fi/action book heavily influenced by the great sci-fi movies of the '80's, such as Robocop, The Terminator, Aliens and Blade Runner.

Pretty much all the stories in Before the Dawn were inspired by favorite horror movies. "Vengeance" is pretty much a mash-up of Halloween and The Evil Dead. "Dead of the Night" was influenced by pretty much every zombie movie I've ever seen. "Wolf Moon" is kinda-sorta my own remake of An American Werewolf in London, and also has sprinkles of The Wolf Man and The Howling. "The Thirst" is what you get when you blend together John Carpenter's The Thing with 'Salem's Lot. And finally, The Black Verses is a straight-up rip-off of Evil Dead 2 :)
