Nick Bellantoni Although I have published a couple of books (one edited), I hardly consider myself a writer. I have a great deal of respect for those that have spent their lives honing the skill that come with expressing themselves with the written word. I spent my life as an archaeologist, but now in retirement, have chosen to write of my experiences. So, for me, the best part of doing this is sharing my stories (and adventures) with the public. I love story telling!
Nick Bellantoni The inspiration for "The Long Journeys Home" came easily. The repatriations of Henry 'Opukaha'ia and Albert Afraid of Hawk were two of my most compelling experiences and I wanted to share them with the public. Hope you enjoy the book.
Nick Bellantoni I am compiling my experiences as a forensic archeologist in historic tombs. Tentatively titled, "Houses of the Night", the book will tell our work inside Colonial and historic crypts - the history of the families interred, the archaeological, genealogical and forensic work to identify individuals. Two of the cases are crime scene investigations.
