The best thing about being a writer is that, through my characters, I get to experience life as a different person. When I'm writing I feel the emotions that character is feeling. I think this makes me a more empathetic and compassionate person because I get to understand how people feel in different situations.

I have never experienced total writers block. When I'm not sure how to continue a certain scene, I go on to a different scene. This gives my brain a chance to sort it out and give me clarity. Once I gain clarity in my mind, I return and complete the scene.
