Oh so many books!I tend to just read what takes me at the time rather than having a set list to read. I'm currently working my way through the Wheel of Time Series, the Invisible Library series, to name just two. I'm also looking forward to reading "You're Never Weird on the Internet by Felicia Day.

The inspiration for Impossible Choices came from seeing a very expensive sports car on my walk to town one day.
I couldn't help but wonder what it was doing there, my imagination took over and by the time I got to where I was going I had the basic idea in my head.

I have an overactive imagination which is really useful.
Sometimes I'll just be at home and I'll think "I wonder what would happen if..." and it comes from that, my other half keeps threating to start a twitter feed of weird things my girlfriend says.
Other times I'll be out doing something and I'll get the idea from something I see or experience.

I'm currently working on the second story about Bethany Black, I'm probably about halfway through the first draft.
I will be taking a break in November from that to write a new story based on a character from a short story I wrote for my blog, this will be during NaNoWriMo. If you're interested you can read the short story here: https://www.daydreamingunicorns.co.uk...

Believe in yourself, I didn't for years. It was only with the support of family and friends that I finally had the courage to put my writing out there.
Plus just write, don't do any editing till you've finished your first draft. Otherwise, you'll end up constantly changing what you've written and never get to the end. At least that's what happened to me.

Being able to work to my own timetable. I'm not a morning person, so not having to interact with anyone till I've woken up fully is great.

I do one of three things:
Read, because it relaxes me.
Binge watch shows or movies, as then I forget to worry and the next time I go back I'm no longer stressed about writing and I know what to write.
Or I go for a walk, I often find I'll see something as I walk that will give me inspiration for a story. It might not be for what I was working on but again that takes away the worry that I couldn't write and the next time I sit down I am able to continue.
