F.J. Roberts Interesting question and truthfully, I'm really sure, LOLOL. Umm, maybe it's life. Maybe it's something I've seen or heard. I'm not sure, but I can say this. When I started, ideas flooded my brain. I'm not talking just a concept. I'm talking character names, book title, everything. Explains why I don't sleep.

But I will say this. We all have an idea of life, love, happiness. Sometimes it doesn't work out the way we want. So I guess for most writers, we look at the situation, wonder how we would change it, and take it from there. Romance is romance, but for me it's not clear cut and roses. There has to be drama. There has to be suspense. And sometimes, throwing a little mystery into the mix makes it all come together.
F.J. Roberts LOL - this question is a no brainer, and owe my Facebook friends all the credit. In the past, I wrote inspirational tidbits here and there. One day I was cleaning out my long list of messages. While reading, I keep seeing the same thing popping up. "You Need To Write A Book". That night, I found nothing on television and nothing on Netflix. My computer and I ended up in a stare down match until I sat down at 7pm, asking why myself "Let's see what everyone is talking about." Next thing I knew it was 4am the next day and I had written 20 pages. It was the birth of the de' la Marsh Series.
F.J. Roberts Have just finished a standalone which will be released sometime in March, and could possibly be a two-parter in the making, not sure. Been toying with an idea, and my muse has been knocking at the back of my head. At present, finishing the touches on Book 2 of de' la Marsh. It's time to head to the bayou and stir up a little trouble. I am so looking forward to the publication of the series. It's been a wild ride, but that's expected when you writing about Bayou Country.
F.J. Roberts Write and don't stop. We all have a voice attached to us, whispering in our ears. And I think for the most part we all a story to tell, whether it's painful, laughable, or even the most ridiculous. But it's fear that holds us back from even thinking that anyone would care what is written. And that's a mistake because the bottom is that not everyone is going to enjoy your story. So swallow your pride, never give up, and find what makes you inspiring.
F.J. Roberts For me, it's the knock on the door, and having someone tell me your package arrived. I remember the first time I order my first release. I stare at the box for two hours, scared to open it. When I did and held that book in hand, I realized for the first time, everything that I went through to get it in my hands was worth it.
F.J. Roberts I distract myself with physical activity or engage in conversation with friends. You would be surprised what laughter or care can do for you. It's all how you put it into perspective.
