The promotion for Torn is all consuming, but I sometimes cast my thoughts toward my second novel. It's called Compromised.

My characters inspire me. I see them going in a particular direction, trying to reach an end goal. I have to keep them moving toward that destination. If they aren't moving, I literally see them riding a motorcycle for days or waiting for an elevator that never comes. That motivates me to get them moving again. Then something totally unexpected happens.

Haha. I fret. Then I dig into research. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it takes me too far afield, but I come out on the other side writing again.
