William Freeman Where does any idea come from? Does anyone really know?

I assigned myself a writing project. Wanted to write an original vampire novel. I always loved the name Salomé. These three items were my starting point.

Once the seed was planted, eventually, the book itself took off.
William Freeman Creating. I would love to leave it as that because that's what writing is in simple terms. A writer creates. New worlds, characters, situations, emotions, plots, and plot twists; writers create it all. It doesn't get better than that.
William Freeman I write part-time. Any deadline I made was flexible so, if the words didn't flow, I jumped into research mode. After a few hours, when the mind fog disappeared, I returned to writing. William Freeman Keep your notes- throw nothing out. You never know what you wrote might lead to down the road. And...keep plowing along.
William Freeman Organizing and creating a series bible. Afterwards, I pile all the character profiles together for my next novel: Salomé - Path of the panther.
William Freeman I hit the shower. Seriously, there's something about water that promotes inspiration to raise to the surface. Worked every time.
