JUST DO IT. You can't be a writer if you don't write. I waited many years before I started to put ideas to paper. It has become so much easier and cost effective to self publish if you can't get your idea sold to a big publishing house.

Years ago a few friends and I created a modern fantasy D&D game.
I realised as we developed the scenarios that we were creating mini stories to play each week. Over the years I tweaked the characters and stories and have now used the basic concept to create hopefully a new entertaining series
