Maribel Fox There's not any one thing.

-Forcing myself to write, even if it's crap.
-Talking it out with a friend or another writer - even if they have nothing at all to say, just forcing myself to verbalize my thought process to someone else will frequently trigger ideas that staring at a screen for ten hours never did.
-Knowing when to walk away and let it all stew in my subconscious.

The key is to not actually let it block you - I'm the queen of back doors and loop holes, even if it's just my own brain I'm trying to trick. Closed door? Find an open window!
Maribel Fox The freedom. If you're a full time writer, you can do your entire job off a single laptop. You're not constrained to anyone else's schedule, a physical location, hour of the day. The power is intoxicating!
Maribel Fox Never quit! Persistence is key. But don't spend forever stuck on one thing.

Keep creating, exploring new avenues, and challenging yourself.
