Music, television shows, people watching, etc. I'm always watching and thinking about what I see and hear. Often times, a story will unfold before I even know its there. I like to spend time with the characters and the story for quite awhile before I feel confident enough to put them to pen.

I am in the process of researching for an upcoming historical fiction book. The book will be based on the first Duke of Normandy, Rollo the Viking. I find what is known of his story and lineage fascinating and I'm looking forward to telling my version of his tale.
