Stephen Taylor Hi Jo, Wow I see you've been busy reading all my books. Firstly thank you so much for you're great reviews on Goodreads.
Ok, now Alive until I Die. I Will confess that I'm a little behind with this one, When COVID hit and lockdown started in March Things got turned a little upside-down. For the first time I couldn't get my head round writing and struggled for a couple of months. I'm glad to say I'm through that now and writing everyday to catch up. I should be able to get the book out some time in October.
Thanks for your support
Stephen Taylor

Stephen Taylor I'm off on holiday in a few weeks and have a few books to take with me. First ones Past Tense by Lee Child, second one is The Darkest Day by Tom Wood and the third is Atlantis Found by Clive Cussler. I've read plenty of Lee Child and Clive Cussler so I know pretty much what to expect. I love Tom Wood's character Victor the Hitman, cold and calculating.

Stephen Taylor Execution Of Faith being my first book is a collection of all my favourite characters, Mitch Rapp, Jack Reacher, Victor and a few films like Lock stock and two smoking barrels and Snatch blended in my head to create Danny Pearson. I wanted it to be both entertaining and humorous on one count but the action to be hard and brutal on the other. I also wanted the pace to be quick from the off to the end. The second book Vodka and Jellied Eels is set slightly earlier when Danny Pearson has just left the SAS and gets entangled in his uncle Harry's turf war with the Russian Mafia. This book will be out summer 2019
Stephen Taylor Its weird, I don't think of myself as a writer just a guy who writes books when I'm not running my business. I think pulling all the story ideas out of my head and turning them into the package that is a book, that you can actually give to someone to read is more rewarding than any job I've done. When someone comes back to you and says i really enjoyed that make it all worthwhile.
Stephen Taylor To be honest I don't need much inspiration, my mind is constantly in overtime and I have more trouble switching it off than on
Stephen Taylor I'm around a quarter the way through Vodka and Jellied Eels the second in the Danny Pearson series. It is set a few years back from Execution of Faith and came about from a chapter were Danny goes to see his Uncle Harry.
It's about the Russian Mafia and Harry's fight for control of London. When Harry's daughter May is kidnapped he asks Danny for his help to get her back.
Stephen Taylor Just do it, for me it was just something I'd always wanted to do but never found the time. Now I've written my first book I just can't stop. It's the most rewarding thing I've ever done.
Stephen Taylor I haven't really had much problem with writers block as such. I have with transportation links from a specific part of the book to the next
