Sharilyn Skye My favorite books seem to be the least popular in general. I LOVE Ravena and Teagan. Love them. They are so layered and much deeper than "just reverse harem." Those two books particularly hit me, covering social issues and problems that not many books do. Alas, that series as a whole wasn't well read to the point that it may not be finished other than the general ending it gets in Goddess Bound.
Sharilyn Skye So many worlds! How can I pick one? I want to see them all. Still, I'd pick the one with the best book boyfriends and try and snag myself a nice little harem.
Sharilyn Skye YES! Jake and Ivy are the next characters to tell their story. This one will keep you in suspense until the end, but there will definitely be an answer. An Omega's Dance will be out in late Spring or very early summer 2024.
Thanks for asking!

Sharilyn Skye The ideas for all my books come from me asking myself, "What if?" and "What then?" The crazier, the better. The Healer Series came from a less happy time in my life when I just wished something fantastic would happen to me and take me away from what I was actually doing. I'd walk to my barn after dark and think....what if?
Sharilyn Skye The voices in my head...I mean...that's not just me, right? The ideas in my head won't let me rest until they get thrown into words so....
Sharilyn Skye Oh Gheeez. Everything. I'm always working on the Healer Series. Most recently, Aedan threw a wrench in the series outline and demanded his own book so there's that. I'm also working on a stand alone, lets call it general fiction, that I absolutely love the premise of, but it is slow going.
Sharilyn Skye Write something you love. Write well and have a good support base. Good books will rise to the top and if you are writing them, so will you.
Sharilyn Skye Um.....sleepless nights? No really, the success of my first book has been so exciting. Hearing from readers about what their favorite parts are, and even their not so favorite parts has been great. It means the book is out there and people are reading it. That is the best thing about being a writer!
Sharilyn Skye I deal with writer's block by going and doing something else. I'll go on a weekend retreat and trail ride with my daughter and best friends or immerse myself in one of my favorite authors. Usually that will free up my mind and the ideas start to flow again.
