Its hard. I force myself to write and go off onto a tangent that nearly drives me crazy, then I read my work and delete it. I then cry and walk away and relax, try to watch movies, drink wine, listen to music, smoke creativity inducing marijuana, then eventually give up and I pray. When my work isn't forced and flows easy, I know its gold. It eventually comes when I am willing to let go of control and I feel my lowest. I am my most creative at my lowest.
