David Austin Hey Ross,

I'm about half way through with the first draft. and hope to have it finished by early summer. Then I have to submit the manuscript to the CIA's Publication Review Board for approval.

If both of those happen on schedule, I'm hoping to release book #2 some time around mid-December. The working title is Drone Strike.

Thanks for your interest!

David Austin My biggest inspiration to write comes from reading other really good books.
David Austin I'm about 100 pages in to my second book tentatively titled, Drone Strike.
David Austin Well, Tehran's Vengeance is my debut novel so I don't have a lot of experience in the field. That being said, I would say to write regularly, stick with it, and don't get discouraged.
David Austin I think there are a couple of things I love about writing. The first is the creative part of it, developing characters and story lines. Sometimes they take on a life of their own and drive the plot in a direction I never imagined from the start. I also like that I can do it anywhere, on a plane, in a car (if I'm not driving!), or in my favorite sandwich shop.
David Austin I usually step away from the computer for a while and do something on the opposite end of the spectrum from writing. I'll ride my mountain bike, workout, or work on a photography project with my wife. I typically don't like what I write when I try to force it and will end up deleting or rewriting that section later.
