Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Tammy Partlow I got the idea of Morgan Lee's tale while living on a cattle ranch in WY. I was thinking about opposite people. Sometimes there is an attraction between them. Only, in my novel, Blood Beneath the Pines, it was a negative attraction between two men who were neighbors.

How do you get inspired to write?
Tammy Partlow I usually have a glimpse into a scene and that gets me started writing. I don't always know where that scene will take me.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Tammy Partlow I usually take a break from writing for a little while. When I allow for free time, my writing thoughts come back.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Tammy Partlow I believe being creative and having fun discovering what the story holds is an awesome piece of being a writer.
