I have a sequel to "Wally's Misadventure" that I am working on. There are also several other ideas on hold.

I have always had a very active imagination and would make up my own stories to tell people. I wrote some poetry first and then about 10 years ago I started putting ideas down in print.

The idea just developed over time. Raccoons are naturally curious so I knew I could do a lot Wally being a raccoon. I chose the beaver because I like the beavers in "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe". The bird was inspired by my maternal grandmother who lived to be 105 and loved church music.
There is a scene in the story that was inspired by something that happened to my cat Zipper, but let's see if you can figure that out!
