As John fell the four floors to the impending death, he visualized the 'FALL', ‘Fraternity Against Lady Leadership’, as a bunch of octogenarians in dark robes hiked up to their waists, no pants, sitting at a circular table.

In 1986, I was asked to write the copy for a piece celebrating the upcoming 25th anniversary of a development known as New Seabury. In doing research about the history of the area, I came across a wonderful book entitled “The Narrow Land: Folk Chronicles of Old Cape Cod” by Elizabeth Reynard first published in 1934. It was a treasure trove of local myths and legends! Years later, it caused me to ask “hey, what if …?” And thus I brought some of those legends forward in time and gave them personalities of their own. Thank you Ms. Reynard
