What are you currently working on?
Anne Pettigrew The sequel to Not The Life Imagined which follows its narrator Beth as she uncovers, not an arrogant sex pest like Conor, but a GP Shipman character in Milngavie, Glasgow.

How do you get inspired to write?
Anne Pettigrew I am fortunate to be blessed with have ideas than I have time to get on paper! At 69 my time is running out....

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Anne Pettigrew There are no books about the experience of female UK medics apart from token characters and the female undergrads in my Glasgow University class were astonished at the differences of 50 years ago eg no easy access to pill, blatant sexism and library research by index card!
